Marathi shares Devanagari with Hindi but writes it its own way. It has ळ, a letter used in everyday words such as पोळी, बाळ and डोळे. Marathi ends a sentence with a full stop (.), not the Hindi danda (।). English vowels take a curved mark: ॲ for the a in app (ॲप) and ऑ for the o in office (ऑफिस). Keep the mark, or the word may be read with a plain vowel.

Standard Marathi follows the Pune style taught in schools and heard on the news. Malvani from the Konkan coast and Varhadi from Vidarbha have their own words and endings, so keep them for characters and local ads. In Mumbai, Hindi words slip into casual Marathi. A brand script reads better when it uses the Marathi word, such as पण for but rather than लेकिन.
Marathi papers and government notices still print Devanagari digits, such as १२, while online ads mostly use 12. Choose one style per script. Count large sums in लाख and कोटी, and note the long ई in the Marathi spelling of कोटी. Station names, housing society names and English brands are worth a preview, and a fixed reading can go in the pronunciation dictionary.

Preview the line first. If a number, date or abbreviation comes out wrong, write it the way it should be spoken, or add it to the pronunciation dictionary, which is on every plan. One entry fixes that word across the whole project.
It is better not to. Both languages use Devanagari, but Marathi has its own sounds, such as ळ, and its own word endings and stress. A Hindi voice is likely to give Marathi words a Hindi accent. Choose a Marathi voice for Marathi lines, and keep Hindi voices for the Hindi parts of a bilingual video.
तुम्ही is polite and also plural, so it suits most ads, lessons and phone menus. आपण is more respectful still, and it can also mean we, including the listener, as in आपल्या घरासाठी. तू belongs with friends and family. Pick one form at the start and keep the verb endings consistent to the end.
